Yaya Dance Academy is seeking an energetic and experienced K-Pop Dance Teacher to join our teaching team.
We are looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable about current K-Pop dance styles, choreography, and performance techniques and can create fun, high-energy classes for students. The ideal candidate can break down choreography clearly while helping dancers improve their technique, confidence, stage presence, and performance quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach K-Pop dance classes for children and youth at different skill levels
- Teach and break down K-Pop choreography in an accessible and engaging way
- Help students develop coordination, musicality, performance quality, and stage presence
- Stay familiar with current K-Pop dance trends, artists, and choreography
- Create an energetic, welcoming, and encouraging class environment
- Prepare students for showcases, performances, or recitals when applicable
- Communicate and collaborate with academy staff when needed
